Auto Log Composition
If you have multiple raw input logs that you need to stitch together to create a single, representative composite log, see Log Compositon.
As you proceed to the log composition step of the 1D model workflow you can quickly generate composite logs for those log types in your case that only contain a single raw input log. This allows you to skip the step of manual log composition, which becomes redundant when only one raw input log is available. When running the Auto Log Composition tool (1D Model > Log Composition > Auto Log Composition), the application analyzes your dataset for raw input logs. If a single raw input log belonging to one of the composite log types is found, the application then generates the composite log for that log type. The new composite log is also automatically assigned to the appropriate log type on the Assign Logs form. It is important to note that this process is run as soon as the Auto Log Composition icon is clicked.
To perform automatic log composition
- Click the Auto Log Composition icon in the strip. An inactive icon indicates that none of the composition log types contains only a single raw input log.
- After the process has completed, check the logs in the JewelExplorer to confirm that the composite logs were created.
- Open the Assign Logs form (1D Model > Log Composition > Assign Logs) and verify that the composite logs were assigned correctly.
